Cocoa Hairline is a fine line stripe wallpaper in cocoa brown on warm cream, thin ruled lines gathered into loose uneven groups the way a careful hand rules a ledger. It gives a room a light touch of order and a great deal of calm.

The design

The lines are no thicker than a thread, some sitting close together, some leaving a wide breath of cream between them, and the spacing never quite repeats to the eye. From across the room the wall reads as a soft warm cream with a faint vertical grain. Up close the cocoa lines come forward. It is a stripe only when you look for it.

Works best in

Living rooms, bedrooms, home offices and hallways. It calms a busy room and gives a plain one a little tailoring.

Style notes

Pale oak, linen and black iron make it Scandinavian. Walnut and brass make it classic. Trim in a warm white blends away, while a cocoa trim picks up the lines and makes them deliberate. Add a wool throw, a stoneware lamp and a single large plant. It likes rooms with good daylight.

Order with confidence

Cocoa Hairline is an original WALLPLICITY design, built as a seamless repeat so every line runs plumb from corner to corner, in peel and stick or traditional wallpaper. Samples available.
