The design

A deep navy limewash solid with subtle tonal drift. Textural depth in place of pattern, calm and enveloping. The tonal drift keeps the surface alive, so the navy reads as depth rather than paint. Daylight pulls faint blue-gray currents across the wall, and after dark the whole thing closes over the room like still water. Anything pale set against it turns crisp, which is the whole generosity of the color.
