French Seersucker is a fine stripe wallpaper in french blue and white with the puckered look of summer seersucker, narrow stripes running cool and even down the wall. It is a seaside morning for any room in the house.

The design

The blue stripes are slim and close, each one carrying the faint ripple of seersucker so the wall looks woven rather than printed. Between them the white is clean and soft. From the doorway the wall reads as a pale chambray blue. Up close the stripes sharpen and the pucker shows. Bright light makes it crisp, shade makes it gentle.

Works best in

Reading nooks, bedrooms, nurseries and bathrooms. It freshens a tired room and suits anything with a nautical streak.

Style notes

White painted furniture, pale oak and polished nickel are its natural company. Trim in a crisp white keeps the stripes bright, while a navy trim makes the room feel like a cabin on a good boat. Add white linen, a rope basket and one red cushion for the pop. Keep it uncluttered and it stays breezy.

Order with confidence

French Seersucker is an original WALLPLICITY design, engineered as a seamless repeat so the stripes run true across the whole wall, in peel and stick or traditional wallpaper. Samples available.
