The design
Repeating Art Deco fans drawn in fine gold lines on a clean white ground. Delicate linework, orderly small-scale rhythm, and a light-catching warmth. White does the brightening and gold does the organizing, row after perfectly even row. From across the room the fans read as a delicate shimmer, and the linework clarifies as you step in. Even in weak morning light the gold keeps a faint, steady gleam going.
