Lantern Plaid lays a gold dotted grid over dark navy patchwork, so the pattern reads as plaid from across the room and as scattered light up close.

The design

Dark navy patchwork plaid squares crossed by a fine gold dotted grid. Three full repeats to every 24 inch panel width.

Works best in

Living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, entry halls, home offices, and studies.

Style notes

Mid century plaid with a metallic overlay. Pair it with walnut, brass, oxblood leather, and cream wool. Warm bulbs catch the gold dots and lift them off the navy. Daylight flattens them back into the weave. A dark pattern with a light touch.
