The design

A geometric checkerboard in soft lilac and white squares. Even grid, gentle Danish-pastel palette, crisp and light overall. Just enough color lives in the lilac squares to pattern the wall without crowding it, and the white keeps the grid crisp. Across a room it softens into a pale purple haze, while up close the checkerboard snaps back into focus.
