The design

Soft mint brushstrokes over a deep sage ground, repeating in an easy vertical stripe. Two calm greens with visible, painterly edges. The pale mint reads as light moving down the wall while the sage holds steady behind it. At a distance the strokes settle into a soft stripe, and up close the loose edge shows in every pass. It keeps its calm in any light, which was the entire assignment.
