The design

Soft mint brushstrokes over a deep sage ground, repeating in an easy vertical stripe at medium scale. Two calm greens with visible, hand-drawn texture. The pale mint reads as light moving down the wall while the sage holds steady behind it. At a distance the strokes settle into a soft stripe, and up close the hand shows in every pass. It keeps its calm in any light, which was the entire assignment.

Style notes
