Architecture, in stripe form. Mod Stripe stacks clean color-block bands with mid-century discipline, geometry balanced to the millimeter: the sort of pattern that makes a room feel drafted rather than decorated, in the best possible way. It flatters furniture with good lines and forgives the rest.

The design

Color-block vertical stripes with crisp mid-century proportions. Balanced geometry, clean edges, architectural calm. The deeper bands come forward and the paler ones step back, giving the wall a measured, architectural depth. At distance it reads as pure proportion, and up close the color joints stay impeccably clean. It looks composed at noon and tailored by lamplight.

Style notes

Bauhaus discipline wearing mid-century colors. It rewards quartersawn oak, black steel frames, clear glass, and exactly one armchair with genuinely good lines and nothing left to prove. In an entryway it sets the grid for the whole house, and in a bathroom it makes small walls read architectural. The precision was mentioned earlier, and it was not a joke.
