Butterflies were never this organized in nature. Nouveau Flutter arranges wings, blooms, and curved stems into a mirrored Art Nouveau composition in navy, terracotta, sage, and cream. Moody in palette, meticulous in structure. One wall of this and the room has a point of view.
The design
Mirrored Art Nouveau butterflies and florals with curving stems in navy, terracotta, sage, and soft cream. Balanced symmetry gives the drama a steady spine. Navy does the anchoring, terracotta does the warming, and sage drifts between them so the palette never splits into camps. The mirrored layout means the wall reads composed from any seat in the room. Step close and the curving stems take over, all drawn line and intention.
Works best in
Bedroom feature walls, dining rooms, entryways, and creative corners fond of a little theater.
Style notes
Art Nouveau symmetry with the moody palette of a much later century. It pairs with walnut and cherry, aged brass, caned chairs, and velvet in rust or deep green. A dining room gets structure and spectacle in one decision, and a bedroom feature wall reads like a headboard commissioned in 1905. Behind a bar it makes the case for one more round, elegantly.
