Onyx Marquee is the after-dark colorway: the same gilded fans and diamond lattice, struck onto lacquer black. It reads as jewelry for a wall.
The design
Gold leaf fans in a diamond lattice over layered blacks, metallic linework against matte grounds. Sixteen fan columns cross an 8 foot wall, six inches to a repeat.
Works best in
Powder rooms, bathrooms, dining rooms, bars, and entry moments meant to impress.
Style notes
Maximum contrast, minimum color. Pair it with black marble, unlacquered brass, and white porcelain. In a small powder room it wraps like a jewel box. Keep towels and accessories to cream and gold and let the wall do the talking.
