The design

A limewash-effect wash in soft grey-beige with subtle tonal movement. No repeat to speak of, just gentle mineral texture and depth. From a few steps back it reads as a single considered color, and the mottling only surfaces as you approach. That slow reveal is the whole trick, giving a flat wall the depth of old plaster worked over by hand. It shifts with the day too, cooler at noon, warmer and shadowier by lamplight.
