Stripes are the oldest trick in decorating, and the seventies were the last decade brave enough to bend them. Retro Tide layers funky blue bands in a rolling retro rhythm: part surf, part shag-carpet optimism, all momentum, and exactly the wake-up call a plain hallway has been waiting for.

The design

Layered retro stripes in graduated blues with a loose 70s wave to their geometry. Bold horizontal energy that keeps a wall in motion. The paler blues lift forward while the deeper bands anchor the sequence, which reads from across the room like weather moving over water. Up close the bends in each stripe give away the pattern's sense of humor. Bright daylight cools it toward crisp, and evening slides the whole wall into dusk.

Style notes

Beach house by way of the shag decade. It gets along with blond wood, chrome, denim, cork, and anything white enough to bounce the blues around.
