The design

Taupe and charcoal watercolor circles in subtle vertical stripes on a warm beige faux-linen ground. Organic geometry with a hand-touched edge, quiet from afar and textural up close. The charcoal circles hold the front of the pattern while the taupe ones settle back, which gives the columns a gentle sense of depth. From across the room the stripes read as soft vertical shading, and the individual stones only appear as you approach. Morning light cools the beige, evening light warms it, and the pattern accepts both without complaint.
