Stone Microcement is a concrete look wallpaper in soft stone grey, the cloudy, trowel marked surface of a polished cement wall without the dust, the cost or the cold. It gives a room a modern backbone.
The design
Pale and darker greys drift into each other in broad soft clouds, with the faint mineral speckle of real cement showing through up close. There is no repeat to find, only a slow change of tone across the surface. In daylight it reads cool and architectural. Under warm lamps it goes to a soft mushroom grey and loses its chill entirely.
Works best in
Living rooms, bedrooms, home offices and bathrooms. It suits lofts, new builds and any room with a big window.
Style notes
Black steel, pale oak and concrete coloured ceramics are the natural partners. Trim in the same grey makes the wall monolithic, while a crisp white trim turns it graphic. Add leather, a wool rug and one green plant to keep it human. The less on this wall, the better it looks.
