Gray has a reputation for playing it safe. Stone Terrain is an abstract organic wallpaper that gives it a pulse: warm gray and putty shapes with the look of limewash, and cream paths winding between them on a warm white ground. It reads as calm from the doorway and quietly interesting from the sofa.

The design

Soft rounded forms in charcoal gray, dove and pale greige stack and overlap like river stones, with pale channels running between them. Every shape carries a cloudy, uneven wash, the way plaster takes a first coat of limewash. Across the room it settles into a gentle, warm neutral with a little movement in it. Up close the layered edges show how the grays were placed one over the next.

Works best in

Mudrooms, living rooms, home offices, bathrooms, kitchens and hallways.

Style notes

The neutral with a pulse. Pair it with white oak, matte black hooks and rails, jute and linen in flax or chalk. Above gray painted board and batten it makes a mudroom look like an architect chose it. It hides scuffs and fingerprints better than paint ever will. In a home office it keeps the background calm on every video call.

Order with confidence

The repeat in Stone Terrain is engineered to be seamless, so the stones and paths continue without a visible join, and the design is ours alone. Peel and stick or traditional wallpaper, either way. Samples available, which matters with a gray, since every room warms or cools it differently.
